ACA302 - Capacitive sensor for acceleration and shock detection
The new ACA302 capacitive sensor can detect both acceleration and shock. The sensor has an inbuilt chip which can detect movement in three axis and both dynamic and static acceleration. Small construction and light weight makes this sensor ideal for fitting into portable units and the sensor's amplifier enables further reduction on circuitry. The sensor is 16x16x7.3mm and has pcb pins for easy insertion. Power consumption is also very low at 1.4mA. The sensor is suitable for use in tilt sensing, car alarm systems, navigation systems and stability control.
