The A1/A2 module has been designed to improve measurement accuracy with internal signal conditioning. As opposed to external signal conditioning cards, the high performance, on-board A1/A2 module, reduces the effect of signal noise and simplifies the data acquisition system.
A1/A2 signal conditioners are suitable for use with most FGP Instrumentation and GS Sensors load cells, pressure transducers and accelerometers, except very small miniature sensors, the FN2570 and FN3280 series for example.
Power supply is unipolar on the A1 module, which accepts 9 to 30 V unregulated supply and outputs up to 4,5 V. The bipolar version, A2, accepts ±12 to ±18 V unregulated supply and outputs up to ±5 V. The A1/A2 units are built into the sensors, thus the measurement system arrives already formatted, calibrated, and ready for your immediate use.
