Over 80 basic Schott Filter glasses are stocked by SKAN and can be supplied either as raw materials, cut blanks, or polished components at very competitive rates from our in house processing facility. Filter components can also be provided in a thermally toughened condition or as cemented combinations.Specific Lambda-C value Longpass filters and tight Optical Density specification components are routinely supplied. Striae and bubble / inclusion selection against MIL and DIN specifications.

The vast majority of filter glasses are also stocked at the 50 x50mm standard size in a polished condition for evaluation and research purposes. Standard thicknesses are 1, 2 & 3 mm.

Skan also has a comprehensive stock of obsolete Schott Filter materials dating back over 30 years for specific instrumentation applications.

Schott are now able to supply small filter sizes down to 2.5 mm square conveniently mounted on low adhesive foil/tape for pick and place assembly operations.
