The OASYS OTDR Automation System Model 1000 maximizes the efficiency of optical fiber cable OTDR measurements. The OASYS measurement system - consisting of a Photon Kinetics OTDR, a high-speed Multiple Fiber Handler, and comprehensive software - automates virtually all of the following activities associated with OTDR testing: alignment and coupling of the cable fibers to the OTDR, data acquisition, data analysis, and report generation. OASYS test automation not only minimizes testing time, but also enables test technicians to attend multiple test stations or perform other line duties as testing proceeds unattended.
