Cincinnati, Ohio (March 29, 2005) – Advantech Corporation, Industrial Automation Group has once again extended its robust IPPC series with the IPPC-9120G, a rugged 12.1” SVGA TFT LCD display computer. The Advantech IPPC series has proved its reliability with years of operation in every corner of the world. The robust design and compact size of the IPPC series make the IPPC-9120G a good fit for almost any industrial HMI application.

Constructed with a stainless steel chassis and a heavy-duty aluminum front panel, the IPPC-9120G stands up to tough industrial environments. The strengthened glass protects the front panel from shock and is NEMA4/IP65 compliant for water and dust protection.

The IPPC-9120G is designed so it can be achieve the performance and cost tradeoff that is optimum for your industrial application. Its Socket 370 CPU structure supports an Intel® Pentium® III processor up to 1.26 GHz and an Intel® Celeron® processor up to 1.3 GHz. The 12.1” SVGA TFT LCD provides vivid, sharp and large images with high luminance of 320 cd/m2.

Two PCI/ISA expansion slots provide expansion capability for special function add-on boards, and can also be used for Advantech motion cards or I/O cards for digital, analog, or special communication requirements. The back door allows easy maintenance and comes with a lock for better security. The IPPC-9120G also supports an optional PCMCIA wireless LAN adapter. Optional mounting accessories are available including swing arms, panels, racks or other industrial equipment.

The IPPC-9120G is also available with a resistive touch screen, known as the IPPC-9120G-R.
