The A3000 is serial device server connecting an RS-232/422/485 serial port to a 10/100Base-T Ethernet network running TCP/IP. The A3000 provides an easy and economical way to monitor and control data from any place via the Internet. The A3000 easily connects any serial device to the World Wide Web without any modification of the user’s software. It allows any host computer access to the serial port as a virtual COM port via an IP address. The included software automatically finds A3000 devices in the network and allows the A3000 to be configured via WEB browser or serial port.

There are several ways to use an A3000 with DGH modules. The configuration guide assists users in getting started with the A3000 including hooking it up with DGH modules. Also, an applications note is available that describes ways to use the A3000 including several examples of using it with DGH modules.
