Cincinnati, Ohio (July 6, 2005) – Advantech Corporation, Industrial Automation Group is proud to announce the launch of a revolutionary computing platform, the IPC-7143. The IPC-7143 has a unique form factor, provides advanced features, and can be integrated with an ATX motherboard.

Unlike the traditional IPC form factor, the I/O interfaces of the IPC-7143 are designed for bottom access. This design allows all of the cables to be organized and maintained much more easily. When mounted on the wall, there's no need for a rear maintenance area. Furthermore, there are no rear access cables to deal with. The power supply is not fixed on the chassis, but mounted on a special bracket with a unique hinge design. This mounting makes it much easier for users to replace the power supply module or even replace the CPU/memory on the motherboard.

For the storage devices, the IPC-7143 supports a slim-type CD-ROM, two SATA HDD trays, and two IDE disk drive bays. With an elegant black exterior, it is a perfect solution for telecommunications, system integration, industrial automation, and other IT- or server-related organizations or enterprises.
