ALPHA line of gantry CMMs represents the result of DEA unrivalled experience gained from pioneering the technology in the dimensional inspection of large parts.
It is an innovative product line of cost-effective medium-capacity gantry CMMs that combines high throughput, and high accuracy with excellent operating reliability and reduced maintenance.
Several unique design features, a superior ergonomic machine architecture, the adoption of state-of-the-art components make the ALPHA a high-performance CMM, easy to use under all operating conditions.

ALPHA is available in several models with measuring ranges from 2000x3300x1000 mm up to 2500x5000x1500 mm.
Even with its comparatively large measuring volumes, ALPHA features a volumetric measuring accuracy from 4 + 4 L/1000 (MPEE ISO 10360-2).

Its high-rigidity, lightweight main carriage built using DEA patented Slant Bridge Technology®, has a “seagull wing” configuration which maximizes beam and carriage height from the floor for outstanding accessibility of the measuring volume and enhanced operator safety. The large cross section Z ram of the ALPHA guarantees excellent mechanical stability. Machine movements on all axes are monitored by high resolution AURODUR® scales with officially certified thermal expansion coefficient.

ALPHA is available in two configurations, ALPHA IMAGE and ALPHA STATUS.
ALPHA IMAGE is a high-accuracy measuring system that can perform rapidly and efficiently any task of dimensional inspection.
ALPHA IMAGE can be equipped with touch-trigger probes like TP20 and TP200, as well as analog scanning probes like SP600.
ALPHA STATUS is a flexible affordable measuring system with cutting-edge gantry CMM technology. A wide range of touch-trigger probes, analog probes, indexable heads and the index heads, and the exclusive continuous wrist DEA CW43L allow these machines to excel in high-accuracy inspection of large parts as well as in scanning.

The system is supplied with an industrial grade measurement software of the DEA line, using CAD-based interactive graphics interfaces and supporting the creation of on-line and off-line inspection programs complete with part graphical models, probe path simulations and reporting.
