The AltoNet1200TM module is a plug and play CW tunable laser source module suitable for use in variety of high performance wavelength switching applications.

The switching time and setup are sufficient to enable high efficient wavelength addressed switching systems to be realised.

The AltoNet1200 supports wavelength programming to all frequencies in the ITU-T G.692 frequency plan. Although the AltoNet1200 comes with default subsystem parameters, these parameters are user programmable dependent on the applications at hand.

The AltoNet1200 has been designed and manufactured to fully meet the intent of the Telcordia GR-468-CORE reliability practices.
