The AQUADISC membrane diffusers are mainly used in waste treatment plant but they can be used in other various applications:

for the aeration and oxygenation of activated sludge in municipal and industrial WWTP
for activated sludge with nitrifying/unnitrifying
for aeration of sand separators
to increase the oxygen concentration of rivers and lakes
to aerate the fish farming ponds
A research program has been performed to optimize the essential parameters of air diffusion through a flexile membrane. Bubbles' repartition and dimensions have been tested during a large test campaign.
