Pressure relief and pressure activation are required throughout many oilfield applications. The rugged Fike CPD rupture disc is ideal for pressure relief protection in separators, storage tanks, filtration systems, water knockouts, in wellhead protection and many others.
Separator process vessels are known to experience overpressure conditions that could lead to dangerous, or catastrophic events. The versatile CPD rupture disc provides for depressurization of vessels, emergency relieve of processing equipment and disposal of vapors by vent.
The CPD rupture disc can be used as a primary or secondary pressure relief device or used in combination with other pressure relief devices. Options such as vacuum support, rings and covers can be added for application support.
Installation of the Fike CPD rupture disc will protect typical wellhead hook-ups when flow lines become plugged, or if valves are inadvertently closed.
