The CV-A436 uses the latest generation of VGA resolution progressive scan 1/3” CCD sensors. This allows the compact head size of 17 mm diameter and 46 mm length. The head is connected to the controller via a detachable robotics grade 2-meter cable. The controller has the dimensions 29 x 44 x 66 mm.
The CV-A436 is designed around JAI’s double speed technology, allowing high frame rate without sacrificing S/N ratio. In the case of the CV-A436, the frame rate is 60 frames/second for full VGA resolution, while maintaining a S/N ratio of >53dB. There are several binning and partial scan readout modes, allowing frame rates up to 268 frames/second (1/6 partial scan).
