The CV-A50 features the compact A-series footprint of merely 44 x 66 mm (width x length) with a height of 29 mm. The CV-A50 offers excellent sensitivity, dynamic range and smear performance, and boasts a long list of useful functions and features. These include RS 232C control of all settings of the camera, programmable exposure, multiple trigger modes such as edge pre-select, pulse width control and start/stop, plus frame-delay read out in conjunction with the pulse width controlled shutter. The target market for this camera family is volume OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and high level System Integrators for Automated Imaging applications (e.g. industrial/medical equipment).
