CAPRIS 100 is the top of our range of UV laser wire marking systems. Specified for high volume manufacturing applications, the CAPRIS 100 is widely used throughout the international aerospace industry, where it is used by many major airframe manufacturers as their main means of volume production of wire harnesses.
CAPRIS 100 is a fully integrated turnkey high speed wire marking system offering automatic mark, measure and cut to length capability for single and multi-core jacketed wire and cable. The PC controlled system has an easy to use Windows interface with optional touch screen. Maximum marking flexibility is available with a full alphanumeric character set and two print orientations. A standard feature enables pin and connector numbers to be printed automatically directly on the wire in addition to the main identification label, greatly simplifying harness assembly. Optionally, the system can print data in bar code format directly on to the wire.
CAPRIS 100 is available in two models (CAPRIS 100-11 and 100-12) specified to offer a choice of throughput and cost to meet customers’ individual needs. The unit comprises a UV laser with beam delivery system, incorporating a simple character generating mask changer, providing high speed automatic changes of code, coupled to a precision cable handling system. The whole system is controlled by an IBM compatible PC using simple menu driven software.
