Cimel's Heliograph - Automatic measurement of sunshine duration
Cimel's Heliograph is an automatic measurement of sunshine duration. The Sensor is fixed on an ajustable and graduated support and can be used with the CE-264 counter or any CIMEL automatic weather stations. An anticondensation heating device is located under the sensor. Principle The end of an optical fiber resolves around the sun axis. The opening angle is limited by an optical diaphragm. At the other end, a photovoltaïc detector receives the light pulse when the fiber window meets the sun. The detected signal is compared to a threshold. A pulse is generated when the radiation intensity exceeds 120 W/m².
Features: Rotation speed : 100 revolutions / hour Output signal : Photodarlington open collector level VSat. at 1mA : 0.7 V Maximal load : 1mA Maximal voltage : 15V Saturation duration : 0.1 to 3s according to the radiation Standard power supply : 24V - 50 Hz Optional power supply : 4 à 16V cc Consumption : 2mA
