Coastal Optical Systems specializes in rapid design and manufacturing of custom assemblies by integrating optical design, mechanical engineering, optical manufacturing and test capabilities under one roof. Coastal has been delivering tested precision optical systems within aggressive delivery schedules since 1991.

Working closely with optical designers, Coastal can assist in balancing trade-offs between manufacturability, cost and performance during material selection and tolerancing phases of the design.

Projects range from volumes of two lenses for satellite applications to several hundred lens assemblies per year for precision machine vision lenses.
