Fiberguide Industries’ Collimator Series consists of Collimators and Focus Guides for use with optical systems. The Macro Collimator is used with core fibers larger than 800um, the Mid-size Collimator is suited best for mid-size fibers with core sizes up to 800um, and finally for smaller fibers up to 400um, the Micro Collimator is the optimum choice. All Collimators are offered with standard SMA connectors. ST, FC and bundles are optional. Macro and Mid-size Collimators and Focus Guides are all compatible with each other. In addition to the three standard focal lengths offered, other specific focal lengths may be selected. The Collimators and Focus Guides are beam-shaping devices for optical systems and ideal for a wide range of wavelengths. The straightforward and sleek design enables users to replace lenses and adjust focus for their specific requirements, doing away with the need to purchase costly new focus guides.
