Moritex Europe, a leading manufacturer of fibre optic illumination and optical lensing systems for inspection applications, has announced that from 1st July 2004 it has been able to offer the complete range of HEINE endoscopes.

Perfectly complementing Moritex's own range of flexible endoscopes the HEINE products add a full range of angled endoscopes that provide comfortable viewing even in confined spaces. The angled endoscopes may be rotated throughout 360 degrees with the image always remaining true and non-inverted. Operating with a wide 35-degree field of view the angled endoscopes offer crystal clear magnification (up to 10x) of images in a focusing range from millimetres to infinity.

Lighting for the angled endoscopes is generated via a halogen bulb powered by a standard Moritex battery pack. The resultant bright, white light provides large area illumination at distances from 5mm to more than 250mm.

Precision manufactured from double walled stainless steel the new endoscopes deliver reliable, high quality results throughout their long working life.
