The new Inf-500 from Moritex is a versatile and affordable imaging tool for quality checking and presentation applications.

The Inf-500 CCD Microscope incorporates a high quality CCD imaging system and adjustable high-intensity LED lighting to deliver sharp well-lit images from 1x to 500 x magnification without changing lenses. One knob operation ensures changing of magnification and focusing is both quick and simple. The systems proprietary LED lighting is arranged in two concentric rings. By selecting combinations of the LED arrays in the inner and outer rings subject lighting can be optimised so that features can be highlighted or unwanted reflections eliminated to reveal the details you want to see. Compact and easy to operate the Inf-500 microscope will increase the efficiency of quality inspection and the simplicity of projecting clear enlarged images.

Equipped with both analogue (composite and S-video) and digital (NTSC and USB 2.0) outputs the versatile Inf-500 offers connectivity to all types of displays, computers, printing and storage devices. Intuitive software is supplied for viewing and storage of images on a computer. Using static memory, a connected monitor screen can be split into two or four screens enabling comparison of objects under study.

Typical applications for the Inf-500 will include in-situ conservation / restoration, forensic analysis, customs inspection and on-site inspection of plant and process equipment. For certain applications optional accessories including a backlighting unit and tripod mounting stand are available.
