Protect Your Employees and Third Parties From Stray Laser Radiation
Most Class 4 and many Class 3B lasers present an eye hazard over very large distances and cannot be allowed to escape from laboratories or production facilities by the way of windows. Ordinary curtains or screens are rarely capable of stopping a laser beam and specially designed curtains are required. Similarly, production facilities utilising Class 1 lasers which are Class 4 under service conditions require ceiling mounted curtains or freestanding screens made from a suitable material to allow other work to safely continue in the same room during service.

To fulfill these needs Lasermet manufacture laser guards made from a special laser blocking material which can be supplied off the roll, or as ready made ceiling or wall mounted curtains, roller blinds, window blocks or free standing screens. We believe these are the most cost effective laser guards available in the UK whilst also being of a high quality and capable of blocking powerful Class 4 lasers (see over for specification).

Where a production line uses a Class 4 laser for cutting and welding, it is impractical for the whole facility to observe Class 4 safety regulations. We can provide complete enclosures to turn your laser into a Class 1 system.
