Cylindrical actuators with integrated alignment elements replace external mechanical positioning elements for position verification. The distribution of alignment elements on the cylinder walls allows it to be tilted freely around three axes, enabling the two end faces of the actuator to be positioned precisely in relation to one another. Alignment is achieved using a pulsed Nd:YAG laser. Each pulse produces a deformation in the structure, causing the end face to turn around one axis. The deformation action is based on the mechanism of laser-induced compression
