The Pentadyne Voltage Support Solution (VSS+dc) is an advanced DC Flywheel Power System that provides a stable, reliable, low maintenance, extended-life DC voltage source for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems.

The VSS+dc can completely eliminate the need for batteries in UPS applications by providing sufficient ride-through for short duration outages or until a standby engine-generator can come on line. The VSS+dc is designed so that it can be integrated into most commercial Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) systems.
