The operation of a diode laser in spectroscopic applications requires highly stable control of the laser's driver current. The Current Control DCC 110 meets this requirement. The design permits usage with both anode-grounded and cathode-grounded laser diodes. A BNC modulation input connector allows for external modulation of the laser current or output power. An additional BNC connector provides a signal for monitoring the internal photo diode current of a laser diode. Two versions of the DCC 110 are available, with output currents up to 500 mA, or up to 3 A for high-power diodes.
