To continue its tradition of leadership in advanced CMM technology, DEA introduces with its GLOBAL line of innovative bridge-type machines, three new models with cross sections of 07.05, 15.14, and 20.15.
With this new additions, the GLOBAL line now covers a measuring range from X 700 mm, Y 500 mm, Z 500 mm, to X 2000 mm, Y 4000 mm, Z 1500 mm.
DEA GLOBAL series of CMMs offers unmatched accuracy, high throughput, rugged construction, and advanced computer technology. Their highly dependable and accurate operation adds a new dimension to precision inspection and measurement functions.
GLOBAL CMMs are available in two configurations: STATUS, IMAGE.
GLOBAL STATUS CMMs are affordable general purpose flexible measuring systems designed to handle successfully any measuring task.
GLOBAL IMAGE CMMs feature advanced multi-sensor technology, allowing the use of electronic single-point probes and analog or laser probes for continuous scanning, within the same inspection cycle. This configuration is also available in “SP” version, equipped with the SP80 universal measuring/scanning probe, which is capable of simultaneously measuring in the X, Y, and Z directions, and features very high and repeatable accuracy even with extra-long probe extensions.

BUILT TO PERFORM

GLOBAL CMMs are carefully designed and built to handle precision inspection jobs. Their exclusive innovative bridge design provides optimum stiffness-to-mass ratio with a lower center of gravity and a wider bearing spread. Wrap-around bearings located in the precision machined dovetail guideways improve accuracy and repeatability. The table-flush sideways eliminate “above-the-table” machine members that can make CMM loading and operation difficult. A large section vertical spindle provides an outstanding mechanical stability to support tooling extended horizontally. Machine movements are measured by AURODUR® high-resolution optical scales that feature a certified thermal expansion coefficient.
For precise part inspection in manufacturing environments, ACTIV® CMM versions are available, which are especially designed for maintenance-free operation on the shopfloor. Their measuring accuracy is virtually independent of temperature variations in time and space.

A BROAD ARRAY OF STANDARD EQUIPMENT

The machines of the GLOBAL line can be supplied equipped with a variety of probe/head configurations, supported by a choice of automatic probe/head/styli changers magazines. Depending on the model and configuration, the systems may include touch-trigger probes, analog scanning probes, a universal probe system, laser probes, index heads, and DEA CW43L high-performance servo wrist. Modular, fully programmable flexible fixturing options provide support and reference to the workpiece under inspection.

STATE-OF-THE-ART CONTROLS

GLOBAL CMMs are offered with control packages specially designed to maximize the use of the system.
CAD-based interactive graphics programs simplify and streamline measuring and programming for both the ordinary and the most exotic applications, providing fast and precise data analysis, a fully configurable, intuitive graphic user interface, interactive report formatting and data handling, and graphic output capabilities for both point-to-point and scanning CMMs.
