The DHY 322 system comprises a hi-power laser mounted on a slaved turret. The system is fully automatic and multi-directional, and operates 24 hours a day for total surveillance of the area to be protected.
The DHY 322 is connected to Laser Alert Detectors which provide it with localization of the source of the hostile laser illumination as well as the key data/details of this designation. The DHY 322 synchronises on the enemy laser emission and generates at short range a more powerful laser spot which it then shifts to an area in which the enemy projectile will not cause any damage.
Capable of reacting in less than one second to an attack using laser target designation, the system is effective even against the latest generation of laser-guided weapons.
