IMM Meßtechnologie presents a new DPSS laser module with a wave length of 532 nm. This laser module has a non-vented thermoelectric cooler (TEC), and it is operated at 5 Volt and equipped with all required controls. Operating temperature is from -10°C to +50°C.

Characteristics such as a collimated beam with a uniform Gaussian profile, an optical noise below 1.5 % as well as the application of all optics for beam forming permit to adjust the beam to a variety of different tasks. For instance, the laser module can be used as green line module for patient positioning.
There are further fields of application in bioanalysis (fluorescence illumination), flow cytometry, confocal fluorescence microscopy and in measurement technology.

Due to diode performances from 1 mW up to 70 mW, the beam performance can be adjusted to individual needs. With a product life of > 5000 h and an additional turn-on-control, the usage period of the laser modules is adjusted to the devices they are mounted into by a specific lighting management.
