The DSCSU is a fully automated fiber preparation and fusion-splicing tool designed to meet the needs of today’s optical manufacturers. Leveraging Diamond’s 20 years of experience designing and building high-quality manufacturing equipment, the DSCSU is the smallest and fastest fully automated splicing tool available on the market. It strips, cleans, cleaves and splices a pair of fibers every 25 seconds. This is accomplished through the use of parallel processing techniques. The unit has the capacity to process 20 fiber pairs without operator intervention.140 splices per hour / 1 splice every 25 seconds
