Datamux is a universal multiplexer for measuring instruments. It allows the communication between 1 to 8 instruments and a PC equipped with an RS 232 interface. Datamux is connected to the instruments via the original cables equipped with a special connector. The signals received from the different instruments are transferred to the PC in a single format. The Datamux operating principle enables to connect a wide range of instruments. In addition to the numerous standard cables, we supply a " universal " cable for RS232 instruments which can be configured by the customer with a supplied software and which enables to simply solve nearly all the connection problems. Three different methods are available for the instruments reading: - Software request received on the RS 232 interface - Action on a pedal connected to the Datamux - Action on the instrument transfer button
