INTEGRA Biosciences AG, in conjunction with INTEGRA Biosciences GmbH, has announced that they will present their latest design concepts for the popular PIPETBOY Comfort pipettor at Analytica 2004 in Munich (11-14th May).

Located on booth A1.505 INTEGRA Biosciences will be offering visitors the chance to influence the visual appearance of the next generation PIPETBOY Comfort combining a wide variety of coloured pipettor housings. All participants will be entered into a prize draw with several chances to win a free PIPETBOY Comfort. Offering precise and comfortable single handed pipetting in the 1-50 millilitre volume the PIPETBOY Comfort has been ergonomically contoured to fit perfectly into even small hands. Weighing only 190 grams the PIPETBOY Comfort is a product that users can operate all day and remain fatigue-free.

Also on display the VACUSAFE comfort represents the current state-of-the-art in liquid aspiration technology that will appeal to many pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical and chemical laboratories. The VACUSAFE comfort incorporates all the essential elements for safe and productive disposal of biological liquid waste. Coupled with the ergonomically profiled VACUBOY hand operator and a range of adapters the system provides the flexibility to aspirate supernatant liquids from cell culture vessels, centrifuge tubes, 24- and 96-well plates and sample vials.

At this important meeting, INTEGRA Biosciences will also be showing and demonstrating its comprehensive and expanding range of products for the cell cultivation laboratory. Technical specialists will also be on hand to discuss INTEGRA Biosciences portfolio of cell cultivation products including the CELLINE 1000 and the recently launched CELLINE adhere - a novel disposable flask-bioreactor for long-term, high-density protein expression from adherent cells.

For laboratories tasked with sterilisation and sample heating applications requiring precision, flexibility and high operational safety INTEGRA Biosciences will be showing its FIREBOY range of mobile Bunsen burners. The FIREBOY range are intrinsically much safer than traditional Bunsen burners having advanced temperature protection, flame monitor and alarm display features to protect the operator and operating environment. Gas ignition is both rapid and safe, with the FIREBOY range no lighter or matches are required.
