Microscopes are often purchased for imaging applications where the need to directly view samples through the eyepieces does not exist. The instrument comes with a full set of objective lenses, frequently several of which are seldom used, along with all the other expensive peripherals that are surplus to requirements.
Prior Scientific recognised this disparity and now market the PriorZoom range of optical systems alongside traditional microscopes. The system is highly modular conferring great flexibility in terms of both optical performance and physical format.
Primarily for reflected light applications, samples can be illuminated coaxially through the optical path or obliquely with fibre light guides or ring lights. Performance stretches from sub-micron resolution through to long working distance macro observation of large objects.
Let Prior configure an optical solution with a perfect fit for you.
