ELGA’s unique Docking Vessels are the next generation of pure water reservoirs for the laboratory. They are specifically designed to accommodate the PURELAB Option, PURELAB Prima and MEDICA water purification systems. The concept behind them is remarkably simple – dock the water purification system on top of the L-shaped vessel and you eliminate the need for a separate reservoir. This gains you valuable extra space on the benchtop, looks far more aesthetic and provides a host of other benefits.

There are two Docking Vessels in the range. The DV25 stores 25 liters of pure water, whilst the DV35 stores 35 liters. The chart below provides a quick reference to help you choose the appropriate model.

Plug-and-play connections make installation and maintenance very simple, saving valuable time and eliminating connection mistakes
The Docking Vessel is electronically wired to the water purifier to provide status information via the GRID (Graphically Represented Intuitive Display) User Interface; this will monitor the water level in the reservoir and display the data graphically and as a percentage
Audible and visual alarms can be set if the water level falls below a certain level, and the GRID User Interface will warn users in the unlikely event of the electrical connection being lost
The Docking Vessels incorporate a through-flow design and are manufactured using all the very latest techniques and materials to maintain the quality of the purified water:
Flow of water ensures no static areas
Internal surfaces are very smooth with no crevices to harbor bacteria
Inert polyethylene construction minimizes leachables to avoid recontamination of the product water
Sloping self-draining base provides more complete sanitization and quicker rinse-out time
The recirculation capability keeps the water quality at peak levels
Choice of mounting configurations - your Docking Vessel can be mounted on a bench, housed in a cupboard or on a wall, whichever option is best for your working practices.
