The machine is equipped with two galvanometer heads in order to increase the machine performance and for improvement of the process quality. By optical image processing the machine compensates the dimension tolerances of the components, the drift of the laser beam and the process position of the component. Correction data for the laser are generated and sent to laser processor. Than the laser executes the component position in accordance with the corrected data sets.
Versions: - inline version for endless lead frame processing - Reel to reel with additional uncoiling and coiling units - Leadframe strip handling out of magazine
Basic configuration: - leadframe feeding system - Vision system for laser drift compensation - Dual galvanometer head system
Laser: diode pumped Nd/Yag-laser with internal cooling, wave length 1064 nm, nominal power 30-20 W, pulse frequency 0-5 kHz (programmable)
Process flow: 1. Measurement of the actual leadframe position. 2. Calculation of the actual deflash position in X, Y and phi-direction 3. Data transfer to the laser control system for correction of the laser offset. 4. Deflashing process with high accuracy.
Control System: PC (industrial version) with Microsoft Windows 200 system software, 17 Color touch screen and keyboard, PLC and stages control system.
The Software allows different modes. automatic-, single step- and Service mode for manual functions, multiple recipe storage.
An external filter unit for exhaust air is available as an option.
