Dual garry 3000 series detector
The DUAL-GARRY 3000 series incorporates two 3000 element linear CCD array detectors, mounted 13mm apart and in parallel. These linear CCD arrays can be synchronized from the same trigger pulse, so both arrays sample light within the same time slot, as short as 5 micro-seconds. When mounted to an imaging spectrograph, this dual detector can capture the spectrum of two pulses in the same spectral range. The input beams being measured, must be separated vertically on the input slit, to form images 13mm apart in the output plane. The 21mm length of the array, together with the high resolution (7 micron wide pixels), allow high resolution.
