CEDIP Infrared Systems, specialists in thermal IR camera systems, have announced a new toolkit for use with their range of cameras that enables simple set-up and control of a wide range of parameters using National Instruments LabVIEW™ programming environment.

The CEDIP LabVIEW Toolkit provides a comprehensive set of image acquisition and analysis subroutines as well as dynamic link libraries (dll's) for the LabVIEW programming environment. Provided on a CD, the Toolkit enables users to acquire, store, retrieve, display, and process still images and video using CEDIP IR Cameras. Under the open graphical environment of LabVIEW controlling CEDIP IR camera's and setting up of parameters such as integration time, frame rate and triggering conditions is easier than ever before.

Today LabVIEW is widely recognised as the graphical development environment of reference for creating flexible and scalable test, measurement, and control applications rapidly and at minimal cost. With interactive assistants, code generation, and connectivity to thousands of COTS devices, LabVIEW makes gathering image & data from CEDIP IR cameras as simple as possible.
