The Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) tests laser systems and components for EMI specifications, temperature, vibration, shock, humidity, and electromagnetic interference. The testing equipment available at DOS, Inc. / DPI / ALT includes an electromagnetic force shaker and three temperature test chambers. Our 70-cubic feet chamber for temperatures between -60°C and +70°C meets the MS-454 and EMI specifications. Vibration and shock testing are available certified to MS-810C. We have two temperature test chambers capable of shock testing from –50°C to +60°C in 5-minute cycles
