Now in its 40th year, HUCO enjoys a worldwide reputation for the design and manufacture of functional, reliable and quality-assured motion control products. As well as offering the most comprehensive selection of coupling types in the world, the HUCO range includes original designs that remain amongst the most popular and cost-efficient of the options available.

In addition to its established designs, HUCO will be introducing a brand new coupling concept at the Hanover Fair. Seen for the first time in Europe, this design breakthrough provides both high torsional stiffness and good radial flexibility, characteristics that were thought to be mutually exclusive in a one-piece plastic coupling - until now.

By employing new Step-Beam™ technology, HUCO’s new Torq-Link™ coupling combines the torsional stiffness of a straight beam coupling with the lateral flexibility of its helical counterpart. Furthermore, Torq-Link™ has double the torque capacity of the equivalent helical beam coupling as well as far greater torsional stiffness.

A further benefit of this new addition to the range is that it is moulded and therefore able to be produced in large quantities to economic advantage. Standard versions are made from a plastic capable of withstanding temperatures of up to 150°C and other materials will be available for additional toughness.
