Tough spear tip, open pore sensor is ideal for piercing solid or semi-solid food samples for direct pH measurement

In recognizing that pH is one of the key parameters measured in food processing, Eutech Instruments, a leading manufacturer of electrochemical instrumentations, has designed and developed a waterproof pH Spear tester with tough, spear tip open pore sensor for the direct measurement of pH of solid or semi-solid samples such as cheese, meats, fruits, bread or other similar samples. The pH Spear is a rugged, easy-to-clean and a user friendly tester designed for the food professional.

The durable glass spear tip electrode, housed in a resilient engineering plastic body, makes it ideal for applications where piercing solid or semi-solid food sample for direct pH measurement is required. In addition, the open pore junction minimizes clogging and delivers fast, stable measurements.

A signature feature of the popular Eutech waterproof tester series, the pH Spear is also designed for one hand operation by integrating the spear tip pH electrode with the tester body. IP67 waterproof housing makes it ideal for use under wet and humid conditions typically found in food processing environments. Unique ribbed design ensures firmer grip when tester is wet or greasy. With the large LCD display of 27mm (H) x 21mm (W) large, reading measurements is easy from a distance.

The twist-off sensor design allows easy replacement of electrode when necessary. This feature has helped users save money over time. The double junction reference design prolongs useful life and prevents the contamination of food samples. Maintenance is also easy as the user only needs to clean with water and soap.

The Eutech pH Spear is supplied with a 2 year meter warranty for the meter and 6 months for the pH probe.
