Introducing Photonics Industries’ new compact eye-safe wavelength laser. The DC Series represents a completely new approach to produce eye-safe wavelength lasers. This innovative, rugged and reliable design incorporates Photonics Industries’ patented frequency conversion technology, which enables it to produce a high efficiency, high pulse rate laser source at the eye-safe wavelength of 1.516μm.

This is the first eye-safe wavelength laser that can operate at 10kHz in repetition rate, and in Q-switched mode. In addition, this system produces up to 1mJ per pulse at 1kHz at the wavelength of 1.516μm.

This source provides a solution to several specific applications including Rangefinders, Environmental Sensing, Military Target and Security Illumination, Aerosol/Cloud LIDAR, and many more.
