FEMSCAN is a picosecond optical waveform analyzer . It detects repetitive optical radiation with a high sensitivity and a high dynamic range. It can either be used for photon counting in time-resolved experiment as well as for monitoring some ultrafast light emission.FEMSCAN acts as an optical "boxcar" by gating the detection of optical radiation in the picoseond regime. FEMSCAN is delivered with a dedicated software which allows fluorescence decay time measurement with 10 to 50 times the temporal resolution of the best TCSPC systems. Unlike a Streak Camera, the Femscan generates an electrical signal that can either be counted or coupled with a synchronous detector or can be part of a feedback loop
