The ACC FireWireConnect 400 board handles the bidirectional serial high-speed bus transfers in accordance with the IEEE 1394 standard in a PC-system.
Based on the two newest IEEE 1394 chip sets of Texas Instruments (link Layer Controllers TSB41LV 03/Physical Interface TSB12LV21B) the boards support network integration of up to 63 components over 3 separate IEEE 1394 to sockets. Data transmission rates of 100, 200 and 400 Mbit/sec are supported.
