CEDIP Infrared Systems, specialists in thermal IR camera systems, have announced a new version of their ALTAIR thermography software.

The new version of ALTAIR software (version 5.50) offers the capability to develop and implement plug-in modules, by customers or third party software developers. The construction of plug-in modules is straight forward particularly for those who are familiar with development code in the Windows XP/2K environment. Once a plug-in is developed and implemented, it appears as a sub-menu from the main toolbar. As part of the new release CEDIP has included plug-in modules for image processing / manipulation and for radiometric modeling increasing the capabilities of the already powerful suite of software. Third party developed plugins can also be purchased directly from a range of software authors. A full list of the available third party plug-in modules is available from CEDIP.

ALTAIR software is designed for thermographers who want to obtain the maximum information from their infrared focal plane array camera. ALTAIR is the perfect companion for CEDIP's JADE and EMERALD family of IR cameras. ALTAIR offers state-of-the-art real time storage capabilities and radiometric image manipulation and processing.
