NIMTECH integrates in its datalogger FrontDAQ GPS functionalities.
FRONTDAQ synchronizes its internal clock with GPS signals according to 2 modes:
- simple schedule with a precision at the second.
- by synchronization PPS (Pulsates Per Second) resulting from the GPS (precision: 10µsec).
FRONTDAQ thus makes it possible to gather data everywhere in the world on the basis of the universal time available on GPS.

Of course, FRONTDAQ records the data of positioning received from the GPS.
The gathered data are timestamped on this GPS basis, storable on Compact Flash in FrontDAQ and exportable under various formats (binary, CSV, txt…).

Standard application:
- embedded applications (all types of terrestrial and marine vehicles).
- sciences of the ground.
- in general manner, coordination of tests on distant geographical areas.

Implementation in FRONTDAQ:
This functionality can be added to any FRONTDAQ constantly.
This option includes:
- a software licence dedicated to FRONTDAQ unit (via serial number).
- a GPS module with its antenna.
- supply and electric wires.
