Griffin, a modular, spherical rear projection display is designed for single seat training and research applications. This state-of-the-art wide-angle, multi-channel full dome display system provides low to high-end options, is highly flexible and gives upgradeable fields of view in 90ºH x 45ºV segments. As new projector technologies have emerged, SEOS has begun supporting a broader range of suppliers and developing projector-independent system enablers to make it easier to select the most appropriate devices for the application. Our range includes CRT, LCD, DLP, LCoS and D-ILA projectors which can be specified according to your specific requirements.
Features and benefits Exceptional image contrast is achieved, and target contrast is real, as the target is not superimposed over the background image. The system has low through-life costs via the use of fixed matrix displays and SEOS' advanced alignment and set up techniques. One important enabler of Griffin with high-end and legacy IG systems is the economic use of pixels to minimize the cost of image processing power. SEOS Optimizer is the tool that effectively manages the pixels within the image by seamlessly putting high resolution where targets and other key areas are located within the scene.
