Giraffe articulated arm to guide the beam from the laser source to the scan head
ARGES offers on request articulated arms to guide the beam from the laser source to the scan head. Seven rotary knuckles with precision preloaded bearings ensure complete freedom of movement. Aluminium alloy and carbon fibre reinforced tube construction combines immense stiffness and low weight to maintain excellent alignment stability and ease of use. The arm may be delivered without optics or prealigned with a set from a wide range of standard or custom optics. A range of optics is available to cover Nd:YAG and its harmonics wavelengths with enhanced coatings to allow a clear collinear helium neon pointing laser beam to be used. CO2; laser optics are available to special order.
