The importance of the plastic materials recycling has led tim SA to elaborate, in collaboration with an important european manufacturer, a specific and original range of granulators. Marketed under the brand “tim equipments”, these units are specially designed to regrind plastic material scraps.

Three ranges of granulators are available :

- INJECTION : granulation of sprues and runners, with compact granulators, loaded manually or automatically (auger or sprues picking robot)
BLOW MOULDING : the granulators are also designed in co-operation with the blow moulding machines manufacturers, and are particularly efficient in recycling blow moulded articles and parisons.

- TECHNICAL ADVANTAGES :
The important wheel of inertia allows shocks absorption, and enable to use low power motors to reduce energy consumption. The rotor with staggered knives allows 12 successive cuttings per revolution, increasing the productivity. The rotating rotor walls avoid material crushing, overheating, and also protect bearing from dust penetration. The ergonomic of the system allows easy and quick access to any removable part, and facilitates maintenance operations. A soundproof isolation reduce the noise level below the values permitted by international regulations. Chimney and rotor design avoid projection and rebounding of material particles.
