- The base configuration consists of a test head, which may be set to one of four tilt angles, accommodating up to 448 Universal Pins or 1792 Universal 8:7:1 Flexpins.

- The S790VXI test system incorporates a modular design, enabling the system configuration to be tailored to users requirements.

- All universal pins can be individually programmable for voltage levels, current levels, rise times, and termination, with software upgradable pattern rates of up to 40 MHz. Digital activity may be synchronised to external clocks running at speeds up to 80 MHz.
