Jena, 18 June 2004. Following the introduction of their horizontal stack at Photonics West in January, JENOPTIK Laserdiode GmbH (JOLD) has expanded their product range with the 250 Watt module. The high-power laser diodes from JOLD are renowned for their outstanding quality and reliability.

The 250 Watt high-power laser diode module is a further development of the 140 watt module, representing an efficient enhancement to the series of fiber-coupled stacks. This opens new possibilities for material processing in plastic welding as well as disk laser pumping. "It goes without saying that the 250 watt laser diode module meets the same outstanding JOLD quality standard and is a perfect addition to our line", notes CEO Hermann Voelckel. The positive reception from JOLD customers once again confirms that the company is on the right track in their continued development of laser diodes.
