Created with 20 synchronized differential channels, 20 I/O TTL and 4 output DAC, the central readout station FRONTDAQ converts the data on the 24 bits maxi basis and can be connected to more than 80% of URI preconditioned sensors.

NIMTECH has designed this disruptive device, with specifically :
- Compacity : 800 grams, 20 cm length, 5 cm of thick.
- Performance : a ∆∑ converter for each channel, allowing an independent setup of the 20 Input DAC (until 7600 sample/sec by channel), an embedded LINUX, an INTEL processor (PXA 400), and advanced functionalities (triggers, timers, …).
- Convergence : available with 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, standard resistance, potentiometer, circuit probes (PT100, 500, 1000…), Thermocouples, bridges scales…
- Autonomy : with memory storage (RAM of 128 Mb until 256 Mb, compact flash, microdrive…) and electrical supply (12-28V or battery).
- Ability to interface : connexion via an Internet browser, TCP/IP, RS232, RS485 and in option, USB, wireless ; you can manage FRONTDAQ with a C, C++… interface through LabView, TestPoint, or files with EXCEL, FlexPro,…

His main applications concern laboratories, process follow-up and control in manufactories, specific needs in “black box” status, and in embedded mode for a wide panel of activities.
