Bauer introduces a new, four-channel current mode output DC servo motor amplifier. Unlike other designs available in the marketplace, this amplifier operates in a pure class B current mode output, using internal local feedback to achieve the current-mode performance without depending on feedback sensed directly from the output line. This new amplifier represents a "ground-up" design specifically for the purpose of driving DC servo motors, rather than the far more common approach of adapting audio amplifier designs for servo applications.
