Prior Scientific has recently upgraded a number of features on their H101A ProScan scanning stage for upright microscopes. This is inline with their philosophy of continuous product development and improvement. Following feedback from existing customers the stage was modified to expand the travel range available to 115 x 77mm allowing all standard multi-well plates to be viewed.
New manufacturing techniques have lead to a variety of performance improvements ensuring that Prior’s scanning stages are second to none in the microscopy imaging market.
Finally the stage is now customised for different microscopes by fitting an easily changed insert ring rather than the previous system of dedicated base plates. Therefore all H101A stages have a common base plate to which is added an insert specific to the microscope being used. This system makes moving the stage between instruments a fast and simple process that can be carried out quickly and easily by the end user.
